San Diego passes new law to limit habitation in vehicles – San Diego Videos

After hearing hours of passionate testimony, the San Diego City Council voted 6-3 to enact an emergency ordinance that restricts vehicle habitation with 500 feet of a school or residence and between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Matt Boone reports.

  4. At the same time luxury construction projects are going up all over San Diego county. Just check your local beach communities. "Affordable housing" is just a buzz phrase that means nothing, until the people living in vehicles can afford physical addresses it doesn't exist. Continue the sweep people from one spot to another with ordinances does not address a societal issue. We care about the rich in this country but not the poor. Subsidies and tax breaks for corporations, jails for the poor. Doesn't Amazon have enough money already?

  6. put these people in studio apartments.Rents and utilities are too high. Have parking spaces away from neighborhoods.

  7. Entitled brats no one owes them anything! I work my ass off to be able to live in SD if they can't make it there go out of state.
